Acceptance of terms
By creating an account and using Ember, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Ember.
Description of service
Ember is an emotional wellbeing application that provides access to audio content (Whispers), guided journeys (Paths), daily written content (Letters), and reflection tools. Ember is a subscription service with a free trial period.
Subscriptions and billing
Ember offers monthly and yearly subscription plans. Both plans include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.
Give Light passes
Each active Ember subscription includes one Give Light pass, allowing you to give 30 days of full Ember access to another person. Give Light passes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Each pass is valid for one use only.
Refund policy
If you are not satisfied with Ember within 30 days of your first paid charge, contact us at hello@emberworlds.com and we will issue a full refund. After 30 days, subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by law.
Your content
Content you create in Ember — including journal entries, reflections, and notes — remains yours. You grant Ember a limited licence to store and display this content to you within the app. We do not claim ownership of your content and will never use it for training AI models.
Prohibited use
You agree not to use Ember in ways that are unlawful, harmful, or abusive toward others. You agree not to attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute Ember's content or software without permission.
Disclaimer
Ember is an emotional wellbeing tool. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care, therapy, or crisis support. If you are in crisis, please reach out to a qualified mental health professional or your local emergency services.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the app. Continued use of Ember after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
